Maura Green
A trained bench jeweler, designer, and longtime NYC resident- Maura’s obsession with jewelry and adornment began early. She first picked up a jeweler's torch at age 15, and earned an apprenticeship with a local metalsmith in her hometown of DC throughout high school. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan with a BFA concentration in jewelry and metals, Maura has gone on to work in all facets of the jewelry industry for the last 20 years. Maura knows that jewelry can be deeply personal, and she creates her pieces “to endure, to transcend, to celebrate, to remember, to protect, to shine.” Maura has her own inspiration when creating a piece, but the wearer’s own intention and perspective is what activates the pieces, brings them to life and makes them meaningful.
