Born in Istanbul, Lika Behar is a jewelry artisan whose lifelong passion for the craft defines her work. Drawing from her family's heritage as gold coin dealers, she seamlessly blends ancient Istanbul jewelry traditions with a modern feminine aesthetic in her creations. Working from her studio in the Sultanahmet section of Istanbul, Lika, along with her team, crafts unique pieces of wearable art using hand-hammered 24 karat gold, oxidized silver, diamonds, and an array of colorful gemstones. Each piece reflects exquisite precision reminiscent of ancient artisans, capturing the essence of both past and present in her elegant designs.
