Judy Chicago Tapestries Woven

This catalog documents the collaboration between groundbreaking feminist artist Judy Chicago and Audrey Cowan, the weaver who worked with Chicago throughout her career on a series of spectacular tapestries. Published in conjunction with the exhibition, the catalog represents the first time Chicago's work has been considered through one medium of her repertoire of expression. The catalog includes 33 full color illustrations, including two on foldout pages that show the most important works in breathtaking detail. Curators David McFadden and Jennifer Scanlan each contributed essays that put the works in the context of her career as well as the history of tapestry making.
