Gord Peteran: Furniture Meets Its Maker

MIlwaukee Art Museum

$14.98 was $29.95

Gord Peteran: Furniture Meets Its Maker chronicles the career and innovations of furniture maker and sculptor Gord Peteran. His work crosses boundaries, and does not easily fit into the conventional categories of contemporary art, design, decorative arts, or craft. He calls his pieces "furniture", a made-up term that suggests his unique relationship with sculpture. This beautifully bound and printed catalog includes an essay by curator and noted scholar Glenn Adamson, as well as contributions by Gary Michael Dault, David Dorenbaum, and Gord Peteran himself. Over twenty works from the exhibition are photographed and detailed in the catalog.
